Refund Policy
1. Overview
This refund policy applies to deposits and payments made to Falcon Decorating & Property Services Ltd ("we", "us", "our") in connection with property refurbishment, decorating and related services. Because our work is bespoke and tailored to each project, refunds depend on the stage the work has reached.
2. Cooling-off period
If you have signed a written quotation but work has not yet commenced, you may cancel within 14 days of signing and request a full refund of any deposit paid, less any non-recoverable costs we have already incurred on your behalf (such as materials ordered or surveys completed).
3. Cancellation before work starts
After the 14-day cooling-off period, if you cancel before work has commenced, any deposit paid may be retained in part or in full to cover preparatory work, materials ordered and time allocated to your project. We will provide a clear breakdown of any deductions.
4. Cancellation after work has started
If you cancel after work has commenced, payment is due for all work completed up to the date of cancellation, together with the cost of any materials specifically ordered for your project that cannot be returned. Any surplus deposit will be refunded within 14 days.
5. Defective work
If you believe any aspect of our work is defective, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible and we will inspect and, where appropriate, remedy the issue at our cost in line with the warranty set out in our Terms & Conditions. We do not issue cash refunds for completed work; we remedy defects through repair or replacement.
